Cristene Gonzalez-Wertz is the Electronics and Environment, Energy and Utilities Leader of IBM’s Institute for Value research and strategic positioning work. Her fact-based research and perspectives help clients understand how Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, IoT, Security, Data and Platforms will create sustainable business value for executives, boards shareholders and stakeholders. Prior to rejoining the IBV, Cristene was an Executive Strategist working with IBM’s Watson Group, part of IBM’s investment in Cognitive Computing. As a master story-teller, she has a deep understanding of cross-the-portfolio use cases and brings a novel approach to data applications and interaction design. She brings more than 20 years focused in marketing, strategy, and product/offering design.
Prior, Cristene was an Associate Partner in the IBM GBS Electronics: Global Strategist and Marketing Maven for new business model strategy and enablement, customer insight development and go-to-market models. In her first tenure with IBM’s IBV, she shared insights on marketing effectiveness, eCommerce, social media, and interactive customer experience.
